How do I play games at Yume?

Yume payment card is required to play games. There are two options:

  • White cards ($3) can be used for payment.
  • Black cards ($10) can be used for payment and IC card functionality (e-Amusement, Aime)
Games range between 10-50 Yume credits per play. Rhythm games generally consist of 3-4 songs per set. To play a game, tap your Yume payment card onto the NFC payment reader attached to the machine.
Credits are currently offered at a rate of $10 per 140 credits. Yume is a CREDIT/DEBIT CARD ONLY establishment. We do not take cash!

Can I use my e-Amusement Pass/Aime at Yume?

Yes, you can. However, our games run separate servers from machines you see at Round1 or Asian arcades.

  • The DDR, IIDX, and Sound Voltex are running on Nageki
  • There is no webui for maimai or Chunithm yet, but you can view scores on Solips
  • Wacca is running on Wacca Plus

Will using my e-Amusement Pass/Aime at Yume affect my play data from Dave & Buster's, Round1 or other Asian arcades?

Playing at Yume will NOT affect your existing save data. Using the same card is completely safe, but your play data will be separate.

A game is broken! Where do I report this?

We have a #maintenance-requests channel in our Discord

Can you get X game?

We are constantly reviewing market trends, customer demand, and supplier availability to assist us with our next game purchases. Please keep your eyes peeled!

Will you be implementing bulk credit discounts or promotional pricing?

At this time, we're not offering bulk credit discounts or promotional pricing as we've found it challenging to implement while maintaining the service standards we aim to provide and long-term sustainability of the business. However, we're always exploring ways to reward loyalty and will continue to consider new options.

Can I record gameplay footage?

Yes, as long as you adhere to the following rules:

  • Do not record other patrons without their consent.
  • Do not show identifying features of the venue.
  • For Chunithm/maimai, do not show the version code/network indicator.
